Hair today, gone tomorrow

Folks - we've been a little busy setting up our stand at "The World's World record" functions in Spain. We've just picked up a nice funky email from Captain John ... Vice President of Canal House :-

Dear Steve, Please could you fix it for me... ooops, wrong blog...
I would like to report some world records:
  1. World's tallest man: the man stood in front of me at Friday's Cake gig
  2. World's most voluminous hairstyle: the very same man

Congrates John ... one of our researchers was at the very same Gig - and can confirm - well done

More Balls!

I'm pleased that the Blog of World records is appealing to all age ranges. We've recieved an email from a G. Lester;

Dear Keeper of Records, I would like to make my World Record official by sending this note which details that on the afternoon of Saturday the 16th October 2004, I managed to: - eat 19 cheese puffs from a pumpkin bucket with a match stick in 30 seconds on Johns Birthday. I would also like to claim the following records...
  • I ate 19 cheese puffs from a pumpkin bucket with a match stick in 30 seconds
  • I ate 19 cheese puffs from a bucket with a match stick in 30 seconds
  • I ate 19 cheese puffs with a match stick in 30 seconds
All are seperate records in their own right, i'm sure you will agree.

Gavin Lester Age 8

Well Gavin, Assuming you were with a resposible adult (Heard Mr Warburton is) in that Public House - being 8 n' all. However, due to me being present and knowing it was only one world record in place. I can only accept your one World record attempt as a success..

PS - Still around at Debbie's for Roast ?

Death by Balls?

World record breaking isnt as easy as it seems - every day - thousands of people put their life on the line - Eg - Fastest Car in the World, Standing in the largest Ice Cube for the longest time, Brushing a Great White Sharks' Teeth for the longest period in time. Stand aside all you fools - Crazy Debbie P is now impressing the Blog of Records with the following record claim;

Dear Keeper of the Records,
I would like to claim the world record for closest near death experience related to eating cheese balls. Yesterday I managed to get 15 of them in my mouth and came very close to choking to death. Is this a record?
Thanks,
Debbie

Well, Thanks Debbie, Only you could be stupid enough to choak on cheese balls - but great world record attempt. Being sat at the Bar, reading the Sun and drinking a fine pint - your eyes did indeed nearly pop out of their sockets. I'm going to give you this World record - mainly because of you being a Simpleton.

Rememeber, Steve's Blog of records are not insured for any kind of death, injury or harm - and we do not encourage choak related World Record attempts

Well done ... ~ World Records

WKD - just crazy

Debbie from Leamington spa is intent on becoming Steve's Blog of World Records' most World Record Holder - After John H's Birthday Crazy Session - Debbie is claiming two records - the first is below;

Hello again,
I would like to claim the record for the fastest time drinking a blue WKD (or in fact any alcopop). I drank one yesterday in around 2.7 seconds. Is this a record? I also drank a second one in about 4.5 seconds - which may be a record for two consecutive ones, who knows?
Please will you check your vast record vault and let me know.
Ta,
Debbie

Debbie - Good call here ... You are in fact the new holder of two records here! One for the quickest downing of Blue WKD by 2.7 Seconds - and the Quickest for Two consecutive Blue WKDs. However, Steve's Blog of World Records has to point out - drinking alcohol this quick could lead to injury, or you agreeing to sexual orgy sessions which you may later regret.

Taxi for Lazy Drunk!??!!??

Once again, our little Debbie has been busy with World Records - in todays email:

Hello!
Debbie here again, with claim to another record. I once took a taxi from Spices (now Millenium Balti) in Leamington, to Frances Havergal Close, also in Leamington - a distance of around 300 metres. Is this a record for shortest taxi journey ever made?
Debbie

PS Yes, you hear correctly, our geordie neighbour is a sound fellow.

I've checked the vast Record Vault at Canal House - and can confirm, this is a new world record. Shame your taxi driver wasnt the smallest dog in the world - you could have got in the real guiness book of records with that.

PS - Thanks for the message - I'm sure your Geordie neighbour will be pleased to hear that (I'll post them FAB lollies on my way to work tomorrow)

31 pints of beer, one and a half bottles of wine and a can of Chang
beer. Is this a record?
Ta,
Debbie

Well indeed, you have created a Steve's Blog of world records - Congrates!

PS - Heard that your geordie neighbour is a sound lad - and not pasty!

Pasty like a sunday morning

Email recieved from a Mr S Cowie - Leamington Spa;

Whats the record for living with a pasty Geordie? I managed nearly 6 years... .surely that should be good enough.

Well, Mr Cowie ... Ant (from Ant and Dec) lived with Dec (from Ant and Dec) for much longer - Dec was pasty - Sorry, world record request denied.
